Privacy Policy

PeachyMango (“we”, “our”) is the artist site and identity of Franck Martin. This policy describes how we handle your information on peachymango.org and in connection with our releases and products, including the Sonic Zen Spheres app for Apple Vision Pro.

This website (peachymango.org)

We do not require an account to browse this site. If you subscribe to our mailing list or create an account, we collect and process the information described below.

Cookies and analytics

  • Cookie consent. We show a banner so you can accept or refuse optional cookies. Your choice is stored locally (e.g. in your browser) and we respect it.
  • If you accept: We may load Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (e.g. pages visited, general location). We may also show a first-party signup popup, served entirely from our own servers, so you can subscribe to the mailing list after you've viewed a few pages. Google has its own privacy policy.
  • If you refuse: We do not load analytics scripts and we do not show the signup popup. The site works normally without them.
  • IPv6 connection widget: We load a small connection-status indicator on every page (from the Pacific Islands IPv6 Monitor). It is not analytics and is not controlled by the cookie banner. It checks IPv4/IPv6 reachability via Pacific probe servers.

We do not sell your data. We use analytics only to improve the site and, if you choose to subscribe, to send updates about music and releases.

Mailing list

Our mailing list is self-hosted — we run our own subscriber database and mail delivery rather than using a third-party email marketing platform. When you subscribe:

  • Encryption. Your email address is encrypted at rest in our database. We also store a one-way blind index of your address so we can look up your subscription (e.g. to log you in or process an unsubscribe) without storing it in plain text.
  • Double opt-in. New subscriptions require confirming a link sent to your inbox before you start receiving mail.
  • Delivery & tracking. Emails are sent from our own mail servers. Like most senders, we include an invisible open-tracking pixel and route links through a click-tracking redirect so we can measure engagement (opens/clicks) in aggregate; you can disable this by using an email client that blocks remote images and by not enabling "load images" for our messages. Every email names its category (article, dispatch, or journal) and includes two unsubscribe links: one for that category and one for all emails. Mail clients that support one-click List-Unsubscribe unsubscribe you from all emails. You can also choose categories in your account.
  • Bounces and complaints. We process delivery failures (bounces) and spam complaints (via feedback loops with major mailbox providers) automatically to keep our sending reputation healthy and to stop mailing addresses that are no longer valid or that marked us as spam.
  • Your account. Subscribing creates a lightweight account you can manage at /account — update your name/timezone, change your password or email, or unsubscribe/ resubscribe at any time. You do not need a password to subscribe; we also support signing in via a one-time email link.

You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in each email or from your account page. We do not share your subscriber data with third parties for marketing.

Sonic Zen Spheres (Vision Pro app)

Sonic Zen Spheres is an immersive spatial-audio experience for Apple Vision Pro. We do not collect personal data inside the app.

  • No account required. You do not sign in to use the app.
  • No data we collect. We do not collect, store, or transmit your name, email, or usage data from the app to our servers.
  • Apple App Store. Downloading or purchasing the app is handled by Apple. Apple may collect data as described in their Privacy Policy and App Store privacy practices. We do not control that data.

If Sonic Zen Spheres is updated to use optional features (e.g. optional cloud sync or social features), we will update this policy and describe them here.

Third parties

When you use our site or follow links, you may interact with:

  • Google Analytics — if you accepted cookies; see Google’s privacy policy.
  • Apple — for Vision Pro app distribution and purchases; see Apple’s privacy policy.
  • Patreon, Bandcamp, shop, streaming services — when you follow links from our site, their own privacy policies apply.
  • Pacific Islands IPv6 Monitor — a connection-status widget loaded on every page (script from pacific.ipv6forum.com). It checks IPv4/IPv6 reachability via Pacific probe endpoints and may reveal your network addresses to those servers. It is not analytics and is not gated by the cookie banner. Your rights

You can refuse cookies on this site via the cookie banner. You can unsubscribe from the mailing list at any time. If you are in the EEA/UK, you have additional rights (access, correction, deletion, etc.) under applicable law; contact us to exercise them.
