O.O.S.V (Out Of Space Vibration)
On October 16, Joachim Garraud (French producer and DJ, Grammy-nominated, known for his work with David Guetta and Jean-Michel Jarre) and I release "Out Of Space Vibration" — a 7-minute deep dive into old-school techno, recorded at the Vintage Synthesizer Museum near Los Angeles, on real analog synths and vintage machines. No frills, no plugins: just the vibration of oscillators, rolling sequences, and an analog warmth that can't be faked. A tribute to yesterday's clubs, made for tomorrow's.
Pigs, Packets & the Pacific
This article is built on the PIGNet email archive: 6,697 messages posted between May 1998 and November 2012 by the people who built the Internet across the Pacific Islands. I lived that story at SOPAC in Fiji, as a founder and Vice-Chair of the Pacific Islands Chapter of the Internet Society (PICISOC), and later on the Internet Society's Board of Trustees. Why I moved from Facebook Live to YouTube (and Twitch)
Every month as part of our corporate inDay program, we do social activities on a Friday. With some of my colleagues (Juan Rosales, Bryan Levay), we take this friday afternoon to play Beep Boops or Blip Bloops or modular synthesizers. We book a conference room with a view and often invite friends that play modular synthesizers too.
