Internet experience

Tuvalu ISP

I have designed and installed the sole ISP in Tuvalu. I have also advised the government of Tuvalu in some of the aspects of the ccTLD TV.

KI ccTLD

I have advised the government of Kiribati on how to proceed in the running of the KI ccTLD. After attribution of the contract to TSKL, I have designed, and installed the ccTLD for KI. I have developed a ccTLD management software for this specific task.

NR ccTLD

I have designed, and installed the ccTLD for NR. I have developed a ccTLD management software for this specific task.

KI ISP

I have redesigned Kiribati ISP to migrate their current system to a more affordable and manageable platform using open source software.

WS Internet

I have redesigned Samoa Internet backbone to allow multiple ISPs in the country.

Internet Radio

Working on providing Internet Radio servers to re-broadcast countries local radio via the Internet so that the overseas communities can stay in touch with home.

PICISOC

I'm a founding member of PICISOC, Vice-chairman since its creation (cf. History of PICISOC).

WSIS

Following actively the WSIS process and active member of the WSIS-Pacific group.

Past Affiliations

2003: Member of the Information Technology Committee for the South Pacific Games in Suva, Fiji, a meeting of 4000 athletes.
2005: Chairman of the Council of Regional Organisations in the Pacific Information and Communication Technologies Working Group.

Free Software

Tikiwiki

Lead developer of Tikimaps, an interface between Tikiwiki and Mapserver to marry maps and wiki. This is a unique concept of building a community and web site development around interactive maps. I'm currently deploying this application in 14 Pacific Islands Countries, making it the first e-government application in many countries.
