Kite Surfing in Fiji
Locations
- Suva: light winds but big sandy beach at Veiuto? or with a boat at the Suva Sand Bank? very nice clear water, but next to the reef passage.
- Pacific Harbour?: Very big bay, with a small beach, good wind there. The wind is nearly parralel to the shore.
- Sigatoka: Before the Sand dune in the bay of the Crow's nest at high tide, or at the Sand Dunes (Strong winds and strong current) or a couple of bays later.
- Natadola?: Good for surfing, trouble for kite surfing. Protected bay, so gusty and turning winds, but the nicest beach on Viti Levu.
- Nadi?: Towards club Fiji.
- Rakiraki: accomodation and kite surfing school
- Leleuvia: Very nice island with affordable accommodation, easy to kite surf, not too far from Suva and off the east coast of Viti Levu. Leleuvia Island
