Kite Surfing in Fiji

From Veiuto

Many Kites on the Horizon

Locations

  1. Suva: light winds but big sandy beach at Veiuto? or with a boat at the Suva Sand Bank? very nice clear water, but next to the reef passage.
  2. Pacific Harbour?: Very big bay, with a small beach, good wind there. The wind is nearly parralel to the shore.
  3. Sigatoka: Before the Sand dune in the bay of the Crow's nest at high tide, or at the Sand Dunes (Strong winds and strong current) or a couple of bays later.
  4. Natadola?: Good for surfing, trouble for kite surfing. Protected bay, so gusty and turning winds, but the nicest beach on Viti Levu.
  5. Nadi?: Towards club Fiji.
  6. Rakiraki: accomodation and kite surfing school
  7. Leleuvia: Very nice island with affordable accommodation, easy to kite surf, not too far from Suva and off the east coast of Viti Levu. Leleuvia Island
